Hercules & Love Affair have been selected by Renaissance to kick off their new
Sidetracked mix series.

The new series will see Renaissance widen their remit more than ever before,
with head honcho Geoff Oakes explaining that "Sidetracked has been developed to
show the other side of bands from the electronic genre who can, and do, DJ. It's
an opportunity to offer a diverse, unique series, which makes Hercules & Love
Affair the more than perfect choice to kick-start matters." Even though band
member Kim Ann Foxman also DJs, it's down to H&LA main man Andy Butler to
construct the mix solo, but Foxman does however make a cheeky vocal inclusion,
inciting Butler to "play some old disco." Butler doesn't play many new tracks in
the mix, which focuses on classic house and disco, but there is room for one new
Hercules & Love Affair track ("I Can't Wait") to make the cut. As well as the
single disc mix, the package will also come with an unmixed CD featuring
remastered versions of eleven of Butler's selections, which should come in handy
for digital DJs looking for some classic '90s house.

Theres plenty to love about Mind Chaos, the debut album from Portland guitar
heroes, Hockey. Packed with radio-friendly pop tunes, it frames a band enthrall
to folk rock, indie pop and dancefloor-friendly shakedowns. Hitch these
influences to a collection of catch-all choruses and guaranteed festival anthems
and this Portland four piece have delivered a record seamlessly built to a

The nuts and bolts of this pop ethic can be located in the bedrooms of Grubin
and bass player, Jeremy "Jerm" Reynolds. Having struck up a friendship between
lectures at the University of Redlands in 2004, the two bonded through a mutual

Группа «Princessa Avenue» была создана летом 2007 года, когда на глазах у всей страны решались судьбы участниц реалити-шоу «РОКовые девчонки» на канале MTV. По итогам кастинга продюсер Виктор Дробыш отобрал пятерых девушек.

Солистка - Саша Гуркова (выпускница «Фабрики звёзд – 6»), инструментально-вокальный набор – Настя Кириллова, Даяна Рамос, Карина Штерцер и Диана Цирекидзе. С девушками работали профессиональные вокалисты, стилисты, визажисты, журналисты, и всё для того, чтобы эта женская рок-группа покорила мировую сцену! Девушки ездили в Америку, в Нашвилл (штат Теннеси) для записи песен первого альбома, которая проходила на «Blackbird Studio», а также в Финляндию, в Хельсинки на студию «HERE».

«На сегодняшний день у нас ощущается колоссальный пробел в женском роке, и не в смысле, что женщины не любят рок-музыку и не хотят её играть, а просто ни у кого до этого руки не доходят, – говорит Виктор Дробыш. – Вот я и решил создать некий коллектив, который обещает стать одной из первых реальных рок групп в стране».
